Recently Instagram brings dark mode in-build but it depends on the manufacturer also if they want to give you the dark mode option in the setting (like MIUI, Colour OS, etc) are having the option to enable the dark mode. Requirement :-
* Latest version of Instagram installed
• Open the app and click on "Night Mode"
• Just open the Instagram and you will see Instagram is turned dark (If you are having OLED display then it will save battery also)
• Open setting and Head toward display option
• Turn On the Dark option
When you will open the Instagram it will automatically turn dark
Method 3- Hidden feature in Android 9
・Open setting and scroll down to System
・Click on About Phone and scroll down you will see Build Number you just have to tab until it says 'you are now developer'
・Head back and in advance section there will be Developer options and you will see an option Night mode
・ Open Night mode and set it to Always On
・ Head back to setting and click on Display and scroll down to Device theme
・ Click on Device theme and select Dark
Open Instagram and you will see it turned dark
Having dark mode is quite trending nowadays since most of the people are likely to have a dark mode on the Android & IOS devices and it reduces the amount of blue light you come into the contact with throughout the day, also helps to sleep better.
However, this can be on only OLED screens and not on LCD screens. Since, In OLED screens, every individual pixel creates an image. So when the dark mode is ON, your phone shut-down the pixele it doesn't need. But LCD screen uses backlight regardless of a color scheme.
