Getting a Dark Mode in System-wide is still a dream in Android . But not anymore since Android 10 Or, Q bring System-wide Dark Mode in system Setting . But don't get sad, If your manufacturer are stopped providing updates to your phone and getting stuck in Android Oreo, Still there is a way to get system-wide dark mode in Android Oreo and it's a very easy step that you will loved to do it.
* Access to PCs or Laptop
Part 1- How To Use Andromeda
• Enable Developer option and then Turn On USB DEBUGGING
• Open up the Andromeda App in your phone and It would say Connection status disconnected
• Connect your phone to your PC or Laptop using supported USB Cable
• Once you have run the Andromeda command you are good to go to the Substratum app but first check whether the script worked properly or not. To check just open up the Andromeda app in you phone and you should see a "Connection Status" Connected.
Now Andromeda Server is ready to run in your phone! The Server kill when you reboot your phone, so if you want to change anything in future then you will simply have to plug-in to Pc and run the client. But don't worry through any custom theme that you have set won't be re-enabled if you reboot your phone.
Part 2 - How To Get Dark Mode
• First of all you need to have a Substratum theme installed in your phone for dark mode is (Pi Dark)
• Open substratum and look for Pi Dark in the List Select it
• There are two ways to install this theme. You can either Toggle near the top that says Select to toggle all overlay which will select all overlay in the list, or you can select one by one.
• Pay attention to some of the option listed underneath some of the app. For Example- "Android System"
• Once you have selected tap on the floating paint button
• Tap on Build & Enable. You will see the app will tell you which theme are complied and themed. After few second you will theme is installed without error. Enjoy the Dark Mode.
